Job Description
What You'll Do
Your primary purpose in this newly developed position will be to contribute to all aspects of sponsored programs administration, supporting the full cycle of preparing and submitting proposals, budget preparation, assisting with award negotiation and acceptance, and ongoing programmatic and financial compliance.

- Collaborate with principal investigators and research teams to ensure compliance with funding agency guidelines, institutional policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the negotiation and execution of research contracts and agreements, working with internal and external partners.
- Track project progress, including budget expenditures, deliverables, and reporting deadlines.
- Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
- Provide guidance to researchers on research administration, including funding opportunities, grant management, and compliance.
- Contribute to the development of efficient research administration processes.
- Stay updated on relevant funding regulations, industry best practices, and latest trends in research administration.

Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Public Administration, or a scientific discipline).
- At least 3 years of successful experience in research administration, grant management, or related fields.
- Experience with sponsor systems such as research.gov and grants.gov.

Your work location will be onsite at the School of Kinesiology Building in Ann Arbor, Michigan. You will have the option of a fully onsite or a hybrid schedule, with up to two remote workdays per week.
